As part of the development of a Campus Master Plan for Illinois Valley Community College, our team conducted a comprehensive analysis of existing programs and associated space needs throughout the IVCC campus. This analysis included dozens of meetings with focus groups representing nearly every constituency group on campus.
The resulting consensus plan identified a series of proposed renovations, spatial relocations, additions, and new construction, which addresses current and future programmatic needs while at the same time creates a new “Front Door” presence for the campus.
At the conclusion of the planning process, our team worked closely with the College to prioritize the various proposed projects and developed a phasing plan for implementation. Comprehensive documentation was prepared for each project which included project cost estimates, programmatic justification, and scope of work narratives for submittal to the Illinois Community College Board.
