In an effort to increase its Workforce Development opportunities to its community and to consolidate and showcase these programs in one location on campus, Lincoln Land Community College selected our team to design its new Workforce Careers Center. DKA served as the Design Architect for the project.
Due to the ever-changing nature of Workforce Careers, our team worked closely with the College to create an 80,000 sf facility that responds to specific programmatic needs while at the same time allows for the flexibility to easily change in the future.
A series of high-bay spaces were created to support the following programs:
The new facility was designed utilizing energy-efficient systems and has received LEED Silver Certification.
