Columbia Pipe & Supply’s corporate offices had not been updated since the early 1980’s and were inundated with fragmented and inefficient operations resulting from patchwork expansion over the years.
Upon analysis of Columbia’s business structure, workflow needs, and space requirements to meet its current operations, our evaluation process helped identify a plan to allow Columbia to operate more efficiently, and for some departments, in less space. Overall design goals were also established to define the work environment that Columbia had envisioned.
In response to Columbia’s desire to reinforce their identity, the interior design draws upon patterns and materials that reflect their business and culture and clearly communicates that this is a company entrenched in the building infrastructure industry.
